Worship Music Team
We believe that every true follower of Christ (John 5:24) was created and is intended to bring glory and praise to God. As a team, we purpose to always model that truth, and to lead our church into the presence of the Lord, displaying our devotion to Him. We are committed to Biblical truth and excellence as we lead the local church in prayer and the singing of hymns and songs that worship, praise and express gratitude to God for who He is and the amazing grace He has shown us. (1 Pet. 1:3-5)

Our Team
The CVCC Worship Team consists of committed, maturing, and gifted believers who have demonstrated a passion to use their gifts and skills in humble service to our Lord as we sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in our hearts to God.                   (Col. 3:16)  
Music is the most expressive way we can share our love for Jesus together. Our team, however, consists of more than just musicians and singers:

• Set-up is a crucial part of our team. Every week there are many components that require organization, set-up, testing, relocation and teardown. These faithful servants perform these important tasks with joy and our deepest appreciation.
• Multimedia is an important part of our ministry. Our audio/visual team helps to create and support an atmosphere of worship that enables us to see, hear and experience all of the elements of our worship services.
• Prayer is an essential part of this ministry. We are so grateful for those who consistently seek the Lord (Ps. 40:16, Lam. 3:25). We hope to develop a regular team of prayer partners who will meet every Sunday morning before the Worship Service. This group of faithful servants would be committed to regularly lift up our Pastor, musicians, singers and technicians in prayer.

Serve on the Worship Team
If you are gifted musically (voice or instrument) or have a desire to serve as part of our set-up, multimedia or prayer team, we desire to see that your gifts are affirmed and given opportunity to grow.
